This review comes very late. But as the saying goes, better late than never. I go to Japan at least once a year to shop for clothes. I have actually bought clothes from this store in the past. It used to be one of my favorite stores up until last February 2015, my latest visit to Tokyo. The staff were all so snooty I couldnt believe it. There were no rude verbal exchanges. The rudeness came from the facial expressions and body language. In fact, while I was at the store, everyone just decided to disappear one by one, literally. I left and shopped elsewhere. I figured this store was not worth my business from here on out.
I bought a Grey long cardigan and 4 kids items. The shop was reopened, and it became bigger and easier to look at the items. The item line-up got better than before, and it became easier to go in the shop, regardless of the gender and age. I think easy to buy as the price is reasonable and . There are similar items to other brands and they are popular because the price is more reasonable. The only downside is that there aren't many fitting rooms. I want them to improve this as we have to queue up very often. Also I'll be happier if the item line-up is more like Tokyo shops♪
This brand is one of the best known Japanese brands! Its worldwide sales is doing quite well and I guess that many people, both men and women, are wearing their items! The shop in KUZUHA MALL occupies 2 of those floors. The ladies and kids items are on the ground floor and men's items are on the 2nd floor. The shop assistants are kind and give us some coordinate ideas. Particularly the clothes are frequently replaced by new items and I never get tired of looking at them whenever I go. The price is more reasonable for being in a shopping mall compared to other shops in the city and I think this point is grabbing customers heart tightly.
Purchased a pair of Black trainers. Although I recently wore trainers a lot, all of them were in White and I didn't have any Black pairs, so I bought them straight away when I found them. There weren't my size but I asked the staff just in case, she sufficiently dealt with me and I could buy the pair in the perfect size. I often go to this shop and it's easy to go in as it has a bright atmosphere. Because the staff don't insistently talk for their sales, we can take time to look around. I have a very good impression to this shop as the staff politely answered to my question when asked. GU has many cute clothes and shoes at reasonable price, and I want to go again.
Because I wanted to buy a new wallet, I went to this shop. I'd been checking the new arrivals via online and mail order but I was very satisfied that the staff brought various types of wallet to show me when I went there. Although I went to this LOUIS VUITTON shop for the first time, I could take time and enjoy shopping as the staff politely served me in the chic atmosphere. If you tell them about your preferred items, they will give you the detailed information on sale timing, price and shops. It's very easy to find as the shop is in front of Urawa station.
Bought a T-shirt with a small ARNOLD PALMER logo on the chest during the sale period as it was very cute. Although I looked at other items like trousers and dresses and I wanted to try them on, I didn't because the staff looked unfriendly and I was scared to talk to her, I wouldn't say that she gave me the cold shoulder though. She served me at the till as usual but I didn't really like it. She might have been tired for the sale. I'm going to look at the clothes again at least, as I like the items. The T-shirt is highly versatile!
The Shinsaibashi shop is busy as usual. Although it's big and I like it but it was a job to choose 1 item as there were many overseas customers. The shop assistants looked working very hard as there was many customers queueing up for the tills. However I could buy a pair of gaucho trousers that I really wanted. I was pleased to be able to buy them at last, as I wanted to wear them in this Summer. Gaucho trousers are easy to coordinate with various clothes and I'm going to wear them a lot. The price was very reasonable but they were good enough for me who liked trendy items from time to time.
Bought a floral dress. The fabric is supposed to be quite delicate but the dress looks as new even after so many wash. It's no problem at all for washing in the machine at home without having it dry cleaned. The shop assistants are very much 'dolly girl' type indeed and I can get coordination ideas by watching them. Although the items seem to be too many for the shop space, we can enjoy looking at them and that's nice. When I couldn't decide which to buy among 2 dresses, the staff complimented on each and I happened to purchase both (lol). However I wear both very often and it was good that I bought them!
Bought a White shirt. Although the inside of H&M is difficult to look at the items as they are quite messy, I can feel happy when I find something I like. Also many fabric is thin but the designs and silhouette are beautiful as they nicely fit to body. The price is reasonable and it's see-through type but I want to wear this shirt with different colours of inner wear as it's in Summer. It looks cute with sunglasses hooked on the chest. I want to go there again as the bargain sale at WAKAYAMA AEON seems longer.
I wanted to do bulk buy after a long time and went to HONEYS. Bought 2 plain T-shirts to wear as inner wear, gaucho trousers, tapered trousers and maxi length dress. The T-shirt were in White and Black. I chose the Navy striped gaucho trousers and picked the Charcoal colour for the tapered trousers. The staff was kind and I enjoyed shopping as she talked to me in the good timing when I wanted to try them on. I want to wear the gaucho trousers often until Autumn time as they are easy to coordinate and comfortable. I want to shop there again.
Bought a pair of trousers, a blouse and accessories at UNITED ARROWS GREEN LABEL RELAXING. They are in colours and designs that can be worn at daily basis, and that I can feel the detailed distinctive points despite they don't have strong assertion. The inside was big and I could shop comfortably as many shop assistants were nonchalant. The shop is easy to find without getting lost as there is a big sign, and this is also my favourite point of this shop.
The shop is in front of the lift on the ground floor. There are only kids and ladies items, and kids items are for height 90cm upwards. It has several brands including GROVE and 3CAN4ON. I went to look for my top. Because it was during the sale period, the ladies items were sold at 30%-70% off and Many kids items were at half price. I wondered whether they were from last season, some kids Autumn items were being sold at half price. The staff didn't actively talk to us, but they politely helped with trying on the items. The items were kept tidy. I pass by this shop a few days a week and it basically seems to be empty. The age range of customers is wide such as between in their 20's and 60's. I didn't buy this time as there weren't what I liked.
I went to LUCUA as it had a sale. When I was looking at some tops as I was more keen on the Autumn new arrivals rather than the sale items, a shop assistant came and asked 'Would you like to try them on?'. She told me a way to wear the top in the Autumn season. She looked friendly with a smile. Because there were 2 cute tops and I couldn't pick, I didn't buy any in the end. However I'm going there again soon to buy one of them as I can't forget. I'm not really keen on being talked while I'm looking at clothes but it's easy to shop at BEAMS as the shop assistants don't follow the customers around or don't talk to us in vain.
Went to buy a pair of rings. Although it was the first time for me to go to the official shop and I was nervous, the staff politely served us who didn't look like having a lot of money. There were many overseas customers but we could relax during the shopping because the staff who was perhaps busy due to Sunday didn't come to talk to us while we were looking around. The item was out of stock at Ginza shop and we went to another shop but we could buy them smoothly there as the staff at Ginza shop already informed the other shop.
Bought a scarf for my boyfriend's birthday gift. This has been one of my favourite shops and I can shop comfortably whenever I go, as all the shop assistants are kind, chic and mature minded. Although I was a bit worried because I had to pick an item by myself for opposite sex, a kind male shop assistant took time to choose with me and I could shop to my satisfaction. My boyfriend also liked it a lot.
Although I like the cute clothes from this brand, I don't buy them at this shop because the attitude of shop assistants including the shop manager is terrible, and often purchase at the Umeda shop on the way instead. The department store staff is studying hard for the items, and they talk in good manner as well as being elegant. If buying same things, I believe that it's important to feel good during the shopping. Also the Shinsaibashi shop's blog looks like the shop manager's personal diary but no one wants to know about her private life. She'd better to stop revealing about herself too much.
Purchased a jersey tunic in loose-fluffy silhouette. I received a sudden sad news and I was looking for some outfit that I can wear as a mourning dress as I was then pregnant. Although I found a nice item, they didn't have it in one size bigger that I wanted, and I asked the staff to check its stock but there was none. However, she brought similar clothes after I explained. It was helpful that I could avoid walking around in the crowd during the pregnancy as I also had other kid with me.
I popped in to this shop by chance when I went to Ito Yokado. I bought a pair of Beige gaucho trousers as a result of searching for the items that were easy to move about, that looked fashionable but didn't appear to be cheap. The gaucho trousers were a trend in this Autumn followed by the Summer, and Beige seemed to be a trendy colour in this Autumn. I like them as I can wear them with tops in wide varieties of colours and they are easy to coordinate. Because it's one of the shops within a shopping mall, the customers age range is a wide and housewives who pop in when grocery shopping at Ito Yokado, and also student couples who enjoy dating after school are among them. There was quite a number of shop assistants there and the shop was lively as it's always busy regardless of the weather even on weekdays.
Went to buy some Autumn clothes this time at the change of season. Although there weren't many clothes I could wear as I was 6 month pregnant, I bought a long shirt dress that could be worn as maternity wear, and also a pair of flat Autumn pumps that I could safely wear. The staff noticed at my pregnancy and politely explained about the items while she was concerned me. There weren't the pumps in my size but I was very pleased that she soon went to check the availability in their stock. I repeatedly buy clothes at GU because they are easy to coordinate despite the price is reasonable. The items are in wide range of size variations from small to large, and it's another good point that we can buy men's, ladies and kids clothes of all at reasonable price. I want to buy more clothes now and the future.
I've been buying from CECIL McBEE for years as it's attractive for the items that style is a mixture of cuteness and adult-girlie, and also for the volume of items. Particularly Tenjin CORE shop has a good access as it's in the middle of downtown and there are many other facilities. I go there 2-3 times a month. I bought a rose pattern mini skirt a few days ago. It was an item from Autumn new arrivals and I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. The skirt is needless to say cute and it's a superb item as it has an elastic waist band and comes with inner shorts. I haven't bought many pattern skirts before and I didn't know what to wear with but the staff gave me some advice and recommended a perfect top. I like the staff at this shop a lot as they are friendly and I even became friends with them, despite I'm very timid.
