I went to look at jackets for Autumn. The newly arrived large jacket looked comfortably loose and very cute. Although the staff recommended it and I was thinking about it for a long time, I decided to buy it when it became a bit cooler. It was extremely cute. I'll probably buy it. They are available in some different colours and I want to decide the colour when I buy it. I was pleased that the staff told me how to coordinate it. I'm going to buy it when I get my wage next time, as she was kind.
KASTANE has items in many varieties of materials like rayon x polyester as well as denims and jerseys. It took me long to decide as they all looked so different. I only tried on the gaucho trousers but the staff brought some jersey tops that suited gaucho trousers to give me some coordination ideas, as I went there on the way to home from work in my work clothes. I was able to decide soon as I could easily imagine how they would look like with my own clothes. Although I'm not normally keen on being talked or recommended, I could spend satisfactory shopping time for both the items and their service, because I could freely look around at my own pace after the staff greeted me in this shop.
When the store gets crowded on the weekend, their customer service would be horrible. Even when I came to the store, nobody was greeting me. When I left, no one even noticed. I wondered if the store associate could see only people that were in front of them. Or the customers who can talk friendly were prioritized? I often go to Luminest in Shinjuku and I knew a few of the store associates so I was dissappointed. Kastane has a brand's power, and the location in Luminest in Shinjuku is already good, so the store associates might think that you do not need to try harder, and people might come visit the store with the poor customer service that does not happen in the fashion industry. It is not the only store of Kastane that located in Luminest in Shinjuku, but the other locations carry the same items. The things to compare is the level of their customer service. At least I would not feel that I would like to come back to Luminest in Shinjuku. I wonder if the store associates in Luminest in Shinjuku would think higher of themselves.
I wanted long length shirts for a long time, and looked around in a various stores, but I liked the shirt from this store. The store associate showed me some examples for pair ups, and advised me that it looked balanced if I roll up the sleeves. The store was filled with young fashionable girls and I thought it was popular brand. It is located near the escalator, so I cannot help stopping by the store even if I was not planning to buy anything.
It is located in the center of ground floor east Patheo. I think the store used to be Nominee but they changed to Kasutane when I realized :) I like Kastane, but they did not have any store nearby so I used to buy online. So I was glad that they opened a store in Patheo. Of course their clothing were so cute, but it seemed like they carried Dr. Martin so I would like to save money and buy.
It's common in the fashion shops like this, their service was terrible as if they are snobby and overrated themselves. They should have realised that they weren't talking to their friends. They took and replaced items that I was looking at without telling me anything. No sense. I don't agree with them tidying items up in front of us after we touched them.
It's a shame as there were nice staff as well. I'll never go again.
I torn the clothes after one day. It was a long cardigan I bought for 13,000yen.
It was the third time this happened for clothes from CASTANE. They don't accept return or exchange so I asked for repair but nothing happened since. I told one of my friends and she said she had same experience twice. I don't feel they are worth for that price. I'll never buy again.
I went for window shopping.
The large denim coat was very cute and I thought about getting it but I didn't buy it as I already had several coats.
According to the staff, the price came down since last year and it was very attractive. The shop had many items I could enjoy looking at, for better or worse. I have a feeling I might happen to buy something next time I go there.
The colours and balance co-ordinations on displays looks nice and I often take the ideas from them.
The items are Feminine, but cool.
You can create very chic but not overpowered, I, as in my 30's, select trendy designs to add something extra.
When I went to the shop wearing a dress I bought there, shop staff gave me a nice compliment for my co-ordination, so I felt so good as well as I could find nice items.
Generally many are in girlie taste but there are also a few clothes in boyish style. They are possibly special orders from American brands so I check them up every season.
They are easy to co-ordinate as there are many basic clothes. If you get stuck with co-ordination, ask the staff, they will give you some advice. I felt many of shop assistants were friendly.
