Does the staff at GYDA pick customers? I was disgusted that the way she served me was clearly different from how they do to other customers. Well, perhaps I might not have fitted GYDA's atmosphere as I went there without make-up on. Furthermore, the item they kept for me was in a wrong colour despite I asked for it over the phone. When I told the staff that it was a wrong one, she said they had sold that colour on the day before. What was the reservation system for? What was my phone call for? I felt very sad and exasperated, to be honest. I thought that the staff's service was sloppy. Although a shop assistant told me that I would be eligible for a novelty gift if buy that item, the cashier said that I had to spend further 2,000yen to get the gift. Why was there difference depending on the staff? They didn't think I was a customer. I thought I don't want to buy at GYDA even if there is something I want. I'll never go to the Shinjuku shop.
I went to GYDA in Maruei. There were more people than usual as it was the midst of the sale. As soon as I went in, a shop assistant came to ask what I was looking for. I bought a White top that had frilly sleeves from this season's trend and a Navy cardigan. I could shop to my satisfaction as the staff kindly helped me. I wore these clothes purchased then on my trip. My boyfriend also liked them and I appreciate the staff who recommended them then! Additionally, I was also happy that I could buy them cheaper than usual as it had a bargain sale. I feel the degree of satisfaction is higher when we buy at sale price than the regular price. I think it's a also good point that the staff casually talk to us. I tend to think that I'm not going there again if the staff is too pushy and I think the shop I went this time was bingo. I'm going again when they have another sale..
I bought knitwear for Spring/Summer. That was an item I was keen by looking at the catalogue when I came to this shop before, and I went to buy it straight away after they rang to tell me they came in. The staff is young and in her mid 20's but politely answers the questions about body shape etc. Because she doesn't actively talk to customers except answering only when she is asked, I can shop comfortably . If you register with simple membership, they let you know by phone or emails when the nice items come in, they also have the official LINE account and we can get the timely information for short period of sale and novelties.
