When I was younger and used to go to back street in Harajuku, I often shopped at La Foret Harajuku.
I couldn't afford much for being a uni student, so looked forward to the sale seasons.
Particularly winter clothes are more expensive than summer lines, I tried hard to get deals at winter sale.
La Foret used to open from 7am in the morning and I got up at 5am as I lived in Kanagawa, asked mum to take me to our local station, took trains to Harajuku. got there at 6.30am but there was already a long queue...
Shop provided us instant body warmers. waiting in the freezing cold weather for half an hour.
I started moving forward as soon as the door opened.
Why now? I felt tummy ache and talked myself 'Move, Move', rushed into the store for a different reason.
While all others were running to their favourite shops, I hurried into toilet...:-( Just on time, here we go, it's show time. Going round a few favourite shops.
Shop assistants were calling out with megaphones to get customers, the sale season at La Foret was very much like festivals. it was a miracle I could get what I wanted after being pushed around. Leaving La Foret exhilarated with my winning, I found a torn string on my favourite duffle coat I was wearing. Perhaps it happened when I was pushed around. Scared of bargain.
