Because the shop is close from my house, I often buy there. I bought a newly arrived dress the other day. Although I'm not very keen on being followed around by shop assistants, this shop is my favourite as the staff reasonably keeps our boundaries and I can shop at my own pace. It's useful that they soon respond when we want to try items on or ask the size availability, but they don't stick with us. The shop location is also convenient as it's directly connected from the station via pedestrian corridor.
Bought a knee length casual style dress and a denim shirt. I was in 8-month pregnancy and looking for clothes that I could wear both during my pregnancy and after giving birth. The staff thought together and helped me with sizing etc despite I was a fussy customer. I could take time to consider as the staff played with my son during I was trying items on so many times. My son looked happy and she was very helpful. The shop might be difficult to find as it's towards the back of TOMORROWLAND on the 3rd floor in SOGO.
This shop on 8th floor within Yokohama SOGO isn't very big but there are many items. I bought a cotton 100% long T-shirt dress and a thin cardigan for sun protection. It's good that we can choose the items depending on the season as the items at MUJI are provided in various materials. The MUJI passport that they recently started is recommended as it's a good scheme and the points accumulate without knowing. I think that the age range of the staff at this shop is slightly higher. Because of that, all the shop assistants look calm and polite, and I feel good when I see their attentive service to customers.
I went to buy my friend's birthday gift on 2nd August. Entering from the department store basement floor, it was good that the shop assistants were lively as it was about 11am and there were many customers. I wanted to buy nail varnish from CHANEL and went to the cosmetic section. All the brand had few customers and it was quiet. However it was good that I could choose the gift after chatting a lot with the staff. Because the staff who served me was very nice, I happened to buy one for myself as well. I then went to look at the bargain items at the ladies clothes section. It didn't look like bargain sale as there weren't many customers due to before lunch time on a weekday. However I could see even from distance that the staff was politely serving customer one of each customer, same as the staff at the cosmetic section. I found a top I liked at the bargain sale and bought it as I was happy with the price and service.
I went shopping to RIENDA Chiba shop the other day. The staff's attitude was crude and it had an atmosphere that was difficult to go in as a bunch of shop assistants are often talking.
Went to buy a wallet. Because it was a high brand and I couldn't normally afford it, I was thinking for some time whether I should buy it there. My first impression was that the high brand shops weren't easy to go in but the shop assistants were very warm and kind. Although there was no other customers, the staff had a natural attitude that was nothing like a smirk. They were appropriate to the brand's name indeed. I originally intended to buy a wallet but I made them wait as there were also many other nice items and I couldn't help looking at them. The staff had a wide knowledge about one of each item and she wiped my worries out one by one. I never had any unpleasant feeling at all throughout the purchase.
It has been my favourite brand since I was a student. As I thought I hadn't been there lately, I decided to pop in when I went to Sogo. I always thought that the shop assistants always hadn't much motivation. Even when I go in with full of purchase desire, the staff is doing some paperwork at the till or just watching us modestly at most times. It was the same on the day I went, they never said anything when me and boyfriend were talking but we couldn't decide what to buy. I knew they would serve me if I asked for, but I felt disgusted as I could see they put priority on the regular customers. It's the nearest shop that were selling ladies' items but I'll buy via mail order.
The female staff was beautiful and friendly. I could buy what I liked as she explained about the items in details. Although I usually dislike shop assistants who come to talk to me while shopping and I soon run away from them, the staff here was nice and wonderful.
The store associates were horrible. I waited about 15 minutes around the cashier holding the merchandise. There were about 3 store associates who wrapped the presents, or confirming the merchandinse but there was not even a single person apologizing the customer for the wait. I even caught some of their eyes but.... Anyway, I just felt very uncomfortable and it made me feel like I did not even want to buy them.
The other day I ordered something online and went to a store for the pickup. The male store associates at the cashier and the male fitting room assistant were excellent in customer service. I go to Muji store in location around the Ohmiya, Sogo, Lumine, Yono AEON, Stella, but I could tell that the store associates in the Muji store were very polite and had received a great training of the customer service. I saw a comment saying that they kept talking each other and did not serve customer, but I think overall, they do an excellent customer service.
