I went shopping with my 10 months son. I was looking for a baby wear and a T-shirt with good texture for myself. I found the cut-and-sew top with pastel color for kids and it was so cute. When I was thinking, a salesclerk told me that a small woman can wear the top. A baby wear is difficult to be chosen, but the salesclerk really helped me to fit the size for my baby. I've liked PETIT BATEAU for a long time, but there was no shop in Kanagawa. It's difficult to buy their clothes, but I found the shop in Kid's wear on the 8th floor in SOGO Yokohama. It's good to come here. I couldn't have enough time for shopping for myself, but I was able to buy both my son and me. It was like kill two birds with one stone.
The shop is located on the 1st floor of North building at LaLaport Tokyo Bay. It was a little difficult to find the shop. I was looking for rompers for my unborn child. I wanted to ask a salesclerk about the size, but she was writing something at the checkout and didn't notice me coming in. I hesitated to ask her. I felt that it's not like I really want to buy the rompers so bad.
I bought rompers for my coming baby in next spring. It was on sale, but a salesclerk had good service. Since a baby is my first, I had no idea about fabric and size. But her advise made me clear. I was very happy after the checkout because she said "it's looking forward spring, and take care of yourself."
I went to Kichijoji to find baby clothes for my friend's baby gift. I was keen on that shop as the exterior was fashionable, so I tried it.
There were some clothes for mums on the ground floor and babies' items were mainly on 2nd floor. A shop assistant led me to the 2nd floor as soon as I went in.
When I told her that I was looking for a gift for my friend who gave birth, she brought several clothes and made some suggestions so I could decide quicker than I expected. I bought a baby grow in airplane patterns and underwear. They were so cute and I even liked them.
The staff was friendly and the shop had a nice atmosphere. It's a shop I want to go again if I pass by.
I was looking for a friend’s gift to congratulate a birth. I searched the kind of gifts online, but I couldn’t decide, then I thought I started off with a shop and went to Kichijoji. The word ‘baby supplies’ reminds me of PETIT BATEAU Kichijoji. This shop is not in-shop in a shopping mall, it’s a roadside store. I felt difficult to enter but I dared to do. Baby supplies section on 2nd floor had small cute clothes or goods so I couldn’t decide, but soon shop assistant spoke to me. I thought they talked about a gift with customers a lot then I asked. She told me about size, what was great, etc kindly. I decided to longer rompers, whose cloth goes with next season, after half a year. Shopping in a store was better than online so far, also I could choose one acceptably.
PETIT BATEAU is in kids' section on 6th floor in Iwata-ya in Hakata.
Easy to find as it's right in front of the escalator.
The shop assistants are nice, not too young and easy to talk to.
I often buy my friends' baby gifts and I've never been annoyed, the staff is very nice.
