There seem to be only female shop assistants who are in their 20's. They often have a limited hour sale and the announcing voice for that is very high pitch and annoying. The shop assistants who have thick make-up on their faces stand out and I feel that they don't match the brand's image that has strong impression of Miyazaki Aoi. The shop is quite small and there aren't many items, the display isn't particularly well thought. However the shop is right in front of the upwards escalator and very eye catching and I often happen to pop in. They had a sale that offered discount when buying 2 cardigans and the staff showed me various colours and designs such as U-neck and V-neck, and I picked from them. Because there were many colours that were out of stock, they had to place an order for me, but the staff's service was quick and polite. Although it was a shop that many shop assistants had thick make-up and they didn't appear to be trustworthy, their service was polite and sufficient.
We can hear the staff's voice that is telling us about the discount before we enter the shop. Such voices of '70% off on all items!' always attract me and I'm tempted to go in. When I'm choosing clothes, the staff soon comes and says 'Try it on if you like'. I'll get annoyed if they stay beside me all the time, but I like the way they serve customers as it's very natural. If I'm looking around with holding clothes I like, they soon ask me 'Would you like to try them on?'. Everything throughout the purchase goes smoothly and it's a shop I want to go very often.
Bought a combo of a cardigan and lace knitwear from the newly arrived Autumn items. The sale items were much less and it gave us Autumn atmosphere. The combo was what the staff was wearing and it made me decide to buy it as I could easily imagine what it would look like. The shop was quite busy due to the bank holiday but more customers were looking at the sale items. I was surprised at the queue that was stretching to outside when it had a limited hour sale that offered 10% off on all items. The shop was small but there were many items including kids' clothes.
Bought a Summer dress and sandals. The inside was nice and bright, and also there were some mannequins that gave me an idea how to choose the items. There were also many items. I went there for the first time but the staff casually talked to me. When I was choosing sandals, I asked for several different pairs but the staff helped me without any annoying face and I could shop comfortably. Although it took me long to take the point card out, she waited for me with a smile.
Purchased an Emerald Green cardigan and a Black T-shirt. There were several different Black T-shirts and it was very hard to decide but I chose the simple one with White logo. I purchased it only recently but I like it and wear it very often. I also tried some trousers on but I didn't buy any because none of them fitted my body shape. I appreciated the staff who served me with a smile throughout without any annoying face despite I tried on many items. It's a shop that I want to come again.
Purchased a sleeveless long dress that I liked for a while. Because the design looked like that a striped long T-shirt was wrapped around the waist (it was sewed on the dress as an accent), and waist and tummy lines would look slimmer. There were many customers for the limited hour sale. The till was also busy and the shop assistants weren't talking to customers and they were busy to proceed at the till. However all the shop assistants were calling out for the sale..
While I was wandering within MARUI as I wanted to buy a denim shirt, I spotted this shop. The shop assistants greeted me with smiles when I went in. The staff was wearing the denim shirt I liked and she told me the comfort of it. Also she thought, with me, of the coordination of the shirt with trousers and skirts and it was enjoyable shopping. They often have the limited hour sale after lunch time on weekdays and I want to go again. The shop is easy to find as it's just beside the escalator on the 2nd floor in MARUI.
The shop had a limited hour sale when I unintendedly passed by, and it offered further 10% off on all the items in the shop including the Summer items that were already reduced. This shop had a Summer sale until a few weeks ago and it seemed that all the Summer items were almost sold out then at the price of 70%-80% off. There were small amount of Summer items left and they were further 10% off from the original reduction of 80%. Somehow the Autumn/Winter items are sold at 10% off depending on the day besides the limited hour sale and it offers further 10% off at the limited hour sale. It's a shop that we can feel good value for money from addition to the Summer bargain sale. The staff always looks cute and we can learn coordination on the sale items as she is neatly dressed in the shop's clothes.
I went to Shonan TERRACE MALL at about 1pm on 3rd August. Although it was on a weekday, there were many mums with kids due to Summer holiday season. It was particularly lively with full of kids on the floor that were selling kids clothes and items. I bought a T-shirt at 2,000yen from AZUL BY MOUSSY. They didn't have a massive sale but there were some sale items here and there. I went round the inside but there were only a few customers and no shop assistants came to serve me. The cashier's attitude was neither good nor bad. I then went to EARTH MUSIC & ECOLOGY. A shop assistant came to tell 'It's up to 70% off' as soon as I went in. Most items were being sold at 30%-70% off. I bought a skirt, blouse and camisole, and they were good buy as they were about 5,000yen all together. There were many shops I could enjoy looking at as some had a bargain sale.
I went to EARTH MUSIC & .ECOLOGY NATURAL STORE in Lalaport Yokohama, about 3pm on Sunday, 2nd August together with my daughter. There were enormous amount of people in the shop as the shop had a limited hour sale offering further 10% off from the price that already dropped to 60%. Daughter found a dress she liked and she was going to try it on. When we looked towards the fitting rooms, there were 6-7 people waiting for 2 fitting rooms and we decided to queue up as thought it was the acceptable waiting time. However we found out that we had to tell our names to the staff to reserve our turn for the fitting rooms and those people were waiting for being called. Because they were lined up very neatly and looked as if queued up, we didn't notice at the beginning. There was a shop assistant who was in charge of the fitting rooms but she didn't seem to pay enough attention to the fitting rooms as she went to help the cashiers or to tidy up clothes. Also her voice wasn't clear enough and we couldn't hear her at all in the crowded shop, I guessed that she sounded like saying 'Please put your name down if you want to try clothes on', though. We couldn't even hear her calling out 'Ms xxxx who's waiting for a fitting room.' unless standing close enough. Anyway we told our name as soon as we found this out, our turn came after 15-minute waiting time and daughter tried 2 dresses on. We bought one of them. The tills were also extremely busy but it went smoothly and I didn't get annoyed. My daughter was very happy with the dress as it was less than 2,000yen reduced from the retail price of 4,900yen.
