Bought a checked shirt for my boyfriend's gift. Many shop assistants were frank and didn't explain insistently. However the staff politely helped me when I asked for an advice as I didn't know which one to choose from. I bought a perfect gift by his help. There were many big male shop assistants who looked like very American style! They are privately talking as usual and you can enjoy the American-like atmosphere. The shop is quite big. However the display area is a bit small and it's hard to shop when it's crowded.
I bought a denim shirt. I like simple designs so stop by the shop a lot. There are lots of shops that salesclerks talk to me a lot, but Abacrombie & Fitch is not like that and I feel comfortable that they leave me alone in a good way. In the shop, honestly it's difficult to walk around. There are lots of stairs, so it might be not good for customers with kids. There is an elevator, but it stops on the particular floors only on weekends. In addition, each floor is very narrow. When it is a holiday, customers jostle each other. It's not atmosphere to take my time to look around. The shop and salesclerks put much value on their atmosphere and appearance, I think.
ABERCROMBIE & FITCH Ginza shop has a big 12-storey building in Ginza 6-chome. This is the only shop in Japan directly run buy the brand and it's very popular.
Everything here is an American style. The half naked male shop assistants greet customers at the entrance and the inside is in dimmed lighting. With the distinctive smell of ABERCROMBIE & FITCH's own perfume floating around, the staff is freely chatting. This could be a love-or-hate issue, but I think this shop is fun and has an overseas taste in there.
It's a stand-alone shop in a part of Ginza. You should be able to find it easily as buys in large build are standing at the entrance. The inside is very ABERCROMBIE&FITCH indeed. Playing loud upbeat music, cool, flashy guys and girls working cheerfully...we don't often see these scenes in Japanese brands' shops. You have to use stairs to move inside the shop and it's a bit job. The staff offers the minimum service, not being too pushy, but they'll help us when we need and ask for it.
I was keen to know about ABERCROMBIE&FITCH for a while.
I could smell ABERCROMBIE around the shop. Then a good looking and muscular boy greets me at the entrance, I got excited.
I wanted to buy a hoodie of knitwear so proceeded to that section but there were so many and I couldn't make my mind up.
The were so many different colour variations and so nice. I asked the staff to choose the colour for me. I was very happy with my purchase. I then went to look for a Navy knitwear and found a cute one. I decided to buy that as well, straight away!
The inside, the shop assistants were in excited mood and there were many good looking guys, easy to find what I wanted.
If that shop was close from my house, I wanted to go there so often.
