I bought a denim shirt and tote bag.
I often go to BEAMS BOY as it's my favourite brand. They also have other brands' items selected and the shop assistants are very fashionable. They tell us the items' history and purpose as well as the co-ordination ideas. It's on the ground floor in Nagoya PARCO. It's an exciting shop with many casual items.
I bought a scarf, dress and blouse.
I liked the dress worn by a mannequin but I felt bad to buy all the same clothes as mannequin's, so asked for a shop assistants opinion, then she chose the blouse for me.
Because I'm not good at approaching people, it was helpful that she came to talk me. It was very nice as I could feel that she was telling me the honest impression for the blouse when I tried it on. She also told me how to coordinate it with other clothes practically.
I wanted a trendy Chester coat and searched online. Then I went to IENA as its coats looked nice.
It's LeDome and it has both men's and ladies' on 2nd floor in PARCO South building, quite big. The staff served me was fashionable and very friendly.
She nicely treated my 1-year old some I took with me and we were in good mood. I tried it on once then came back for another try one hour later then decided to buy it. It appeared to be the last one and the staff brushed the surface to take dust off, made it tidy. I bought a nice item.
I went to the global brand, COMME DES GARCONS that Japan was proud of.
I used to like this brand and remembered I bought something when I was a high school student.
Their items aren't my style any more as I got hooked by some luxurious brands, however I wanted to see what they were like now. The T-shirts looked pretty and nice.
Basically it depends on the era but I think the items are suitable for 'herbivorous type' people.
I bought a sheepskin jacket.
This shop is a select shop based on the French casual fashion and most items are delicate and beautiful. There are many suits as well. When I was looking for a leather jacket to wear for going out, found this jacket that suit my coordination, to respect shop assistant's opinion and my own.
We've known each others as I also do window shopping, so I could buy a nice item with the 'At-home' alike service. The inside has a quiet atmosphere, it's elegant and delicate (including the shop assistants). It feels like the extreme French casual fashion.
I bought Black skinny trousers. The staff was kind, led me to the fitting room straight away and brought items in different sizes. However I found that the item in wrong size was in the bag after I looked at when I got home.
I went for exchange on the following day but the staff's attitude was terrible. She just asked me 'Have you got the receipt?' and she sorted it without any apologies. I didn't feel very good.
I wanted to buy birthday present for my husband but I didn’t know his perfect size, so asked a staff. I told her his height and weight, then she told me precise size. They sell female products, not only male so there is female staffs, too, so easy to talk to them. In addition, this shop have not only SHIP’s brand items but also SHIPS JET BLUE’s one, it’s a sister brand. The design is for young people and I prefer SHIPS JET BLUE.
A few days ago I did shopping at EGOIST for the first time in a while. I purchased a duffle coat, 2 tops and a skirt this time. Ordinary I wear only black or white color clothes, but I want colorful one this time so asked a shop staff. She chose the color of clothes good for my image. I'm glad that I could do satisfied shopping thanks to her. I wanna visit again.
I went there just after lunch either 2nd or 3rd January in 2013. Always busy on the weekends but that particular day was extreme, I felt so hot inside the store. It seemed it was getting worse as I went to upper floors, perhaps the air conditioning couldn't cope with too much heat.
You need to take a mask for new year's sale. I went to Parco afterwards and saw amazingly huge ball of dust sitting at the corner of the doors people going in and out constantly, they cleaned the floor but couldn't help keep getting dust coming through the doors with number of people in and out, also fibres from clothes floating round in the air.
The dust and air inside made my throat dry. You'll get de-hydrated after staying in heated building so long. So I recommend taking a mask and some drink with you to prevent de-hydration.
A lucky bag I bought sometime ago was from a brand called Semantic Design.
It was on the first day of new year sale in Nagoya PARCO so I already abandoned the idea to go first thing in the morning, I went there with my friend around noon.
I thought the brand itself wasn't as popular as others like DIESEL so I expected there would be some leftovers.
That was my mistake. Most lucky bags ha been gone as it was the first day of the sale, and there were only some bags left, at the prices of 30,000yen and 10,000yen and I just managed to get one for 10,000yen. It had a pea jacket, a down jacket, a tailored jacket, 3 tops, a bottom and a necklace.
Because I went there with my friend, we could swap unwanted items over so this could be one of fun factor and you won't waste those clothes leaving in your drawers if you take friends with you.
The down jacket in the bag was not really my type so I left it for 12 months.
However, I just tried it on and realised I loved this and I even wanted to wear it every single day. Even if you don't like it much when purchased, your taste might change depending on your age, so that's good point to try it after a while.
