I normally go to the new year's sale at their opening time on 2nd January every year. Admission is restricted and you have to wait for about 30mins if you are a bit late, but you can get in anyway.
However, it is so crowded inside Marui and queues can be going to the emergency stairs at the back. Sometimes you cannot take time to look at the items, no time to think, you need patience.
I buy a knit wear which would last only one season or that year's trendy items, coats and pairs of boots which were originally very expensive. I do almost same every year.
You can choose what you like if you get there at their opening time, on the other hand, I can recommend to go in late afternoon as there are less people and you can try clothes on without hassle. Particularly shoes need to be tried on while sitting nicely as a problem could occur later on so I leave shoes to the last, aiming at less busy time. Popular items go so quickly that you should buy them straight away if you like them..
