I received a DM from RALPH LAUREN for the kids' clothes informing me that they would reduce the price again from 15th July and went to the shop at their opening time! Because it was the time when the shop was opening, there were only a few customers. I could recognise about 5 people by looking around the shop. I thought that there would be less items as the sale had already started, but it wasn't too bad even its size variations. I bought a polo shirt that had Hawaiian motif on the back, and a dress in hibiscus print that I wanted. The price on the matching shoes to the dress I purchased before Summer was also reduced but I gave them up as the size didn't fit me. The 2 items I bought were being reduced from that day and I already rang the shop beforehand to check their stock. It was good that I knew those 2 items were both last ones. If you have something you want to buy, it's definitely recommended to go there at the shop's opening time!
I went to this store on 14th July. It was between 10am (store opening time) and 11.30am. Although it was on a weekday, there were many female customers (elderly, with kids and as couples) on the 3rd floor as it had a sale. At the beginning, I looked around shoes from end to end and looked for a shop assistant to bring my size out after I choose some pairs I liked, but it took so long before my turn came. When I asked the place for the specific shoes, the staff just pointed out without showing me around, as perhaps the shop was busy. I was looking at the items at the bag section next to it and I eventually found a Dark Pink shoulder bag (pochette) that I had been looking for at SAMANTHA THAVASA DELUXE, for 4 years and I bought it because I also liked the shop assistant. I then went to HANDS on other floor to buy shoe cream. There were many business men in suits on that floor. There were less people at that floor compare with the 3rd floor, and no queues for the tills. If you want to shop smoothly at department stores, it's better to decide the route you are going around, and to get there at the first thing in the morning!
I bought a Beige trench coat. I chose a simple one to wear for a long time. This is a shop I sometimes go to and The way the shop assistants serve customers appears to be just following their manual but they politely deal with us. The shop is small and it's a bit difficult to pass by when someone else is there. However I think it has many items for this size of the shop.
I went to my favourite brand, well established and trustworthy BURBERRY, as I wanted to wear it at my kid's graduation ceremony. When I was looking at items I liked after I went in, a shop assistant came to talk to me, brought some suits that would suit my body shape. I tried 3 different suits and I decided to buy one that contained a knee length flared skirt and a jacket. I'm short and slightly chubby but the jacket made my waist look thinner, I like them covering my body shape. She also chose a long sleeved jersey top for me to wear inside the suit. She picked this as it could also be casually worn as a daily clothes. The inside is big and easy to look around. I think most shop assistants are kind and easy to talk to.
I bought a White T-shirt and a pair of denim shorts. I was looking for something I could wear with my Yellow sandals and I liked the T-shirt as it went nicely with the sandals. The staff's smile was nice and she kindly dealt with my queries. She was nice. However I couldn't get her clear opinion about the shorts length and I bought them in the end despite I felt they were slightly too short and asked for her advice. It would have been better if she brought other items to compare.
I bought a Navy lace pencil skirt. I wanted clothes of refreshing look for the beginning of Spring to Summer. And I decided to buy it straight away. I like it as it's very comfortable with elasticated waist band. The shop was very busy due to weekend. They issued numbered tickets for the fitting rooms. There was nothing much I could do and I was just waiting. However, a customer made a lot of comment each time she tried clothes on, and asked her acquaintance to bring other clothes, then repeatedly tried them on. Because there were so many people waiting for the fitting rooms, I wanted the shop assistants to warn her or do something.
I happened to visit this store while I was looking for a pair of pants that would fit me. I was in sports club when I was a student, and I had a hard time finding pants that fits around my thighs. I had kids, so the pants that easy to move around was my first requirement, but the looks was important too, so I was looking for pants that would loook good on me. The store sttociate was very kind, and she heard all of my desire and quickly grabbed 2 or 3 pairs of pants and I was able to buy easy-to-move pants that made me look skinny. Even if I go to other stores, people compliment my pants saying "your pants looks very comfortable to wear" and I was very happy.
I visited this store to buy a present for my parents. The store used Gelato pique like pastel colors and it sure would attract female shoppers. The store associates were polite and kind, and they taught me which one applied sales. They also explained to me how would it be when they wrapped the gift. I bought a pillow and a pillow spray as a gift, and with the fluffy pillow that induce good sleeps and the delicate scent that spray would make, it made me want to buy one for myself as well.
I bought a checked blouse. I went in when I saw the pretty clothes while I was wandering around. The staff was nice, never rushed me. I always want to take time for trying on and never like to be talked by the staff every so often. This shop was nothing like that I could try it on in my own pace.
The designs were nice but the price was reasonable! The blouse I bought wasn't on sale but the price was as half as I expected, so I thought it was very reasonable and decided to buy it straight away!
I bought a charcoal cotton nylon tank top with knitting openwork. I was looking for a top that is good with jeans and looks mature but cute for BBQ and traveling on coming season. I bought both casual and formal wear at this shop. I like the coordinate that a salesclerk wears. It is a good reference for me. The shop is located on the 4th floor in Ladies at Takashimaya department in JR Nagoya. It is convenient to stop by on the way home and find new items. I want a double P jacket now.
