Went to this shop to buy a pair of Black trainers that I was going to wear at my part time work. The shop wasn't busy at all as it was at 7pm on a weekday. The staff was tidying items up but came to talk to me when she noticed that I couldn't decide. I had a good impression to her. Because GU LAKE TOWN shop was big, it took me long to find trainers. However there were many black trainers in different designs and sizes and I bought a pair straight away as I could get discount.
It's very big and there are many items. Also many shop assistants were there and I could easily ask when I didn't know where the items were. I went to buy a pair of gaucho trousers that were trendy this year. Because it was a big shop, there were still medium size available in all 3 colours and I was pleased. I didn't need to wait for trying clothes on as there were many fitting rooms. When I decided not to buy some items after trying them on, the staff kindly took them back. The aisles were wide and it was easily go in with kids and easy to shop. It's on the ground floor in LAKE TOWN KAZE.
I popped in there as they had a Summer sale when I went to LAKE TOWN. The shop was big and there were so many items.
It has a lot of men's and ladies' items including tops, trousers, skirts and small items.
I didn't have a plan to shop here but I spotted a pair of linen trousers at reduced price. They were wide trousers in the design that were similar to the pairs featured in magazines for natural style fashion.
When I touched them, it felt the crispy texture so I wanted to buy them. It was about 700yen per pair and I bought 2 pairs in different colours. It was around the end of August when the weather was still hot, and I wore and washed them very often. The material was thin and they were comfortable even in hot days.
The regular price at GU is reasonable but I found I could get the useful items cheaper during the sale period.
The shop is on the ground floor in LAKE TOWN KAZE. It's towards the back of the floor if you go in from JR station, but it shouldn't be a problem as you'll soon get there while looking around the many other shops on the way.
