TITICACA was the shop that I didn't have many occasions to go in as thought the items were too unique for me. I took the plunge and entered to the shop and it became my favourite shop. I was excited at the ethnic displays and the exotic interior as it I wasn't in Japan. The displays of clothes and small items have a very good fashion sense and I can learn from them. I bought a pair of trainers with Chimayo style embroideries this time. The reasonably thick sole parts are comfortable and the embroidered trainers are rare and cute! Although they are embroidered trainers, they can be worn all year round, not only Autumn/Winter time, and the embroideries are fantastic. The price was about 4,000yen. There were many female customers coming with their boyfriends or husbands as it had also men's items.
I could shop comfortably as it was Monday and the shop wasn't busy. Although I didn't expected many limited hour sale, I was pleased that quite many shops had it. When the voice for limited hour sale echoed within the big mall, customers gathered in the specific shops and the shops became full of liveliness. The limited hour sale normally runs at different timing at each shop, so I went round those sale. There were also shops that had several times of limited hour sale a day and I could buy items that were very good value for money. The shops I spent for a long time at were TITIKAKA, HERENOH, EARTH and so on. My routine is considering during lunch time about the clothes I looked at in the morning, then go to buy them. Although I have to go backwards and forwards between same shops, this is another way to enjoy shopping. I tend to do impulse buy during limited hour sale period but I can reduce unnecessary shopping by purchasing all in the afternoon and I can feel happiness with buying many items with less expense.
I am a big fan of Chichikaka which is the small goodies & clothing store located inside AEON mall in Goshono. Hippies or Bohemian style was a trend a few years ago, but Chichikaka has such feeling to it. Chichikaka's clothing had cuteness inside the coolness and I boguht a border off shore top the other day. I don't know if they make things bigger, but they were comfortable to wear. They were wearing Bohemian stlyes and it was truly nice! If you were unsure about Bohemian style, maybe you could start out from accessories. Chichikaka's alpaca muscot will welcome you.
The shop has unique stitchwork and a variety of clolors of clothes so it looks gorgeous. There are plateware and small items but also clothes, accessories, and shoes which have gorgeous stichwork. A salesclerk wears TITICACA's cloth so it helps me to image coordinate. I bought a denim one-piece with stitchwork. When I saw the salesclerk weaing the cloth, I fell in love with it. I can enjoy shopping easily because salesclerks won't talk to me as long as I don't ask them to help me. If I look at only clothes, it's difficult to image. But if I look at salesclerks' or mannequins' style, I can find something cute I want.
My girlfriend likes clothes with Asian taste. When we go shopping together, we often go to TITICACA but I went there on my own to look for her birthday gift.
Because I'm normally just following her around, I didn't know what to choose as there were many unique patterns on their items. I was then wandering about the shop then a shop assistant came to talk and helped me to choose an item.
My girlfriend, of course, liked the gift.
The shop is small but because of that, they can offer efficient service to their customers. Very nice shop.
