I went there with my 2-year-old daughter during the Summer sale. We got in at the shop opening time as I thought it would be crowded as it was on Sunday during the sale. However I could take time to choose because it wasn't as busy as I expected. We went for daughter's swimsuit and beach sandals. She tried on many times to find the suitable size. We could use the fitting room without waiting. The female staff at the fitting room area was in her around 50's and she looked cool. She brought many swimsuits for size matching. I felt comfortable with her service and it was very nice. We could buy the swimsuit and beach sandals that were both satisfactory, by her help. I'm going to this shop again.
It's a shop that I often go to. Although I always take my small child, I could take time to look at the clothes as he waits for me at a kid's space that has a rocket shaped house and story books. The inside is very bright and I can learn from the coordination on the all mannequins. I often buy short sleeved shirts in Summer and long sleeved shirts in Autumn as I like the OLD NAVY's bright designs. Furthermore, because it's an outlet shop, there are many items at reasonable price. There are many fitting rooms and they are big, it's a recommended shop.
I've often gone to GRANDBERRY MALL since I was a little child, and I went to OLDNAVY for the first time at the middle of Summer holiday this year. However the shop assistants besides the cashier were just wandering around, pretending to fold up clothes and they were showing the aura that implying as 'Don't talk to me'. When I encouraged myself to talk to the staff, she said 'That's over there' and disappeared without helping for size or variation. Instead, she was tut-tutting and moaning to other staff who was also wandering around. The hair was unkempt and they didn't look tidy at all. They were totally different from the staff at GAP or UNIQLO. The jumper (about 2,900yen) I bought then the knot came undone and it became fray after I wore it only once. The quality on clothes wasn't good, same as the staff quality. I was really annoyed. I'll never go there.
Went to there to buy kids clothes. I have signed up with their email newsletter and it's very helpful that I regularly receive information for their sale and discount. The shop is very big as they have all kids', babies, ladies and men's. Also the number of shop assistants is huge. When we are holding the items that we decided to buy, the staff kindly give us the shopping basket and makes our shopping easier. They were very good value for money as they had a sale and some items were sold at 40-50% off. I was happy as I could buy skirt, culottes and trousers for my daughter at reasonable price.
There was a sale before Summer and I bought a pair of ankle length trousers. Although it was the first time to go there, it was easy to shop as the inside was big and bright. I think that it's safe to go there with small kids. The price on various items was reduced and the trousers were at amazing 700yen. The small items like bags and fashion items are also cheap and there are various items such as casual style and items that can be used at work. I'm pleased that it won't hurt my wallet even if I buy 2 items. I think that it's a big advantage to be within the shopping centre that has many families as we can buy all ladies, men's and kids items.
I did a bulk buy for 2-year-old daughter and myself at OLD NAVY in GRANDBERRY MALL in Minami-Machida this Summer. Went on Sunday at the end of July. Because it was the first time to go to GRANDBERRY MALL in Minami-Machida, I had no idea how busy it would be. However it was on Sunday and in midst Summer sale. I thought it must have been busy and we arrived at the entrance of GRANDBERRY MALL at about 10am. As a start with, we headed to OLD NAVY that I wanted to go as soon as we got there. There weren't many customers yet and I could take time to choose. I bought swimwear and beach sandals for daughter that I definitely wanted to buy that day. Although I was a bit worried if the cute designs were already being sold out, there were plenty of them on both items. There were also in many size. We could use a fitting room without waiting. The staff at the fitting room kindly gave us some advice. I went for daughter's items in the morning and moved onto my stuff after lunch break. There were more people in the afternoon. I had to wait for the fitting rooms. However it wasn't too bad and I didn't get annoyed, and I could choose a pair of trousers I liked. I was happy with my shopping experience.
The price on the clothes is amazing! However I want the staff to stop showing bad attitude. They should serve customers with warmth and kindness as they are all professionals and get paid. There are, of course, some shop assistants who are nice.
The shop is easy to go in as there are many colourful clothes. I often buy them as they have a sale regularly and it's wallet friendly. However the pricing display for sale items isn't really clear. Although it says '30% off, excluding some items ' near the items, it's difficult to see which are sale because of its item layout. I saw the pricing display for reduction at the trousers section and I took a pair but I was told that they were not reduced. That was for the trousers next to them. This often happens and it becomes easier to shop if they improved the item layout.
Because it was just after the shop opening time, I could take time to look at the items as it wasn't so crowded. The shop assistants were greeting us with smiles and the atmosphere wasn't bad at all. I wanted to buy kids' clothes and the staff gave me a piece of paper for the size table when I was thinking about the sizing. I happened to buy some swimwear as they were sold at 500yen. Additionally, I bought a pair of espadrille at 1,000yen for myself. The price on the items at OLD NAVY are already reasonable but they become even cheaper at its sale and it's my favourite shop.
I often buy from this shop. I was counting the several 1,000yen notes by touching them after I put them on the tray at the till. When I was checking whether any note wasn't laid on top of each other, the cashier glared at me and she started counting them on purposely. The staff training isn't sufficient at all. It was only a shame as I could see the policy of the shop overall by just this shop assistant, despite I had been buying here until now. I will go again when this staff isn't there.
