I went to look for summer clothing for my two year old son. I like their simple design, and I go to this store periodically. This time I went to look for shorts. They had couple of varietions and in the end, I chose on striped pumpkin punts, but they did not carry the size I wanted so I asked store associates if they can bring them for me. They taught me how functionable that the pants I was planning to buy were, and recommended me tops that go well with them. They knew that I was going to buy them, but I thought it was nice that they explained about the pants in detail. The store was very spacious, and they had kids' play space with wooden toys, so my kids could play while I shop, and I could shop very smoothly.
I bought a popular items for the Mujirushiryohin, the border one piece. I wanted it for a long time, but the border makes you look fatter, so I hesitated to buy, but I really wanted it. As I was unable to decide, the store associate told me how to wear slender when wearing border so I could buy it comfortably. North port mall has various clothing stores and restrausnts so I often go, but I never fail to shop at this Mujirushiryohin. Even I don't have anything to buy, the store is spacious and I can look around forever.
The store associates were working with ear plus on, so even if I wanted to ask question about the merchandise, they could not hear me at all. They cannot receive money if they work like that in Japan.
The shop is on ESTA side in STELLAR PLACE and it's very big.
There have almost everything even furniture and stationeries, not only clothes. I often buy same clothes in different colours as MUJI has many plain items that can be easily co-ordinated. I was doing a research about maternity wear as I found out I was pregnant, then I heard MUJI's maternity range was popular. I went to the shop and saw many maternity items like denims and tights, I bought a pair of denim trousers. I chose the skinny style but they were comfortable at bum and thighs as well as around tummy.
MUJI is an enjoyable shop as it has almost everything, small items, stationeries, clothes, furniture and food. Their clothes are comfortable and easy to co-ordinate, it's truly 'Simple is best'. I have identical simple striped jersey tops in 3 different colours and they are so useful.
I'm pregnant at the moment and recently I often go to look at MUJI's maternity wear. The Asahikawa shop is not very big and the maternity section is quite small but the items are really good.
It's comfortable around tummy and I regretted why I didn't buy them sooner :-D
I bought a White Summer long knitwear. It was about 4,000yen.
There were White, Black, Grey and Navy, I normally choose darker colours like Navy or Black but decided to go for the bright White this time. It's useful as I can wear all 3 seasons, Spring, Summer and Autumn. I can wear nicely with a T-shirt inside, or with ski trousers as well as wearing as a dress. There was a big mirror inside and many good-value-for-money items and I could feel saving money a lot compare to other shops.
There are men's, kids' and ladies sections well separated, and it's easy to look around with families. The staff's voice is cheerful and I feel comfortable.
I was looking for a note pad in natural material, then I thought it was MUJI! so I went there.
It was easy to look around as the items were categorised, but the baskets that the staff was using were left near the shelves. They were annoying as the shop didn't have a space for them.
What I like about MUJI is the staff's service. The shop assistants at the tills are all down to earth and they make me feel like coming back again.
The staff at the upstairs interior section normally come to talk to us and they are easy to ask when I want to know something about the items or want to have their opinions. I like their items as I never get bored with the simple design that appeals the nice materials.
I went shopping because it's in the neighborhood. However I always felt that the shop has the busy checkout, poor job, and bad atomosphere. I went there today and found a girl working at checkout crying. What happened? When I asked a male salesclerk about discount, he showed me my misunderstanding with loud voice. I was so embarrassed, but I still couldn't understand the discount on the tag so I asked a female salesclerk one more time. Guess what. I was right, and he was wrong. It might be just bad chemistry. Anyway there are so many MUJI shops so I don't want to go to MUJI SHIN-YURIGAOKA anymore.
I went to the shop to buy a double-zipper hoodie that I checked on TV before. A salesclerk told me that it's popular now. They have clothes, interior items, and accessories. Interiors can be my reference so much. The designs are all simple and fashionable. Lots of salesclerks are genial and fashionable. I was with my kids, but they were nice to my kids too. I didn't have any problem carrying a buggy. There were many family customers, and it looked very busy.
I went to look for items of maternity fashion. I heard that maternity denim at Muji is comfortable, so I wanted to have one. There are denim designs of skinny, boyfriend, and cropped pants. The waist part is very comfortable, and I like that they look fashionable :) I bought the skinny and skirt types. The skirt is tight, but it's trend shape. I bought a little big one so I think I can wear it until nine months. There were lots of winter sale items, so I was attracted by those items too. I found lots of cute kids clothes, so I want to come here after I give a birth.
