I was looking for a small backpack for Spring and went round various department stores, online shops and shopping malls. However I couldn't find the design and size I liked. Then I happened to pop in GU that was crowded with many customers despite it was nearly the closing time. I went to the backpack section straight away and found a cute backpack that design and size are both ideal. The price was quite reasonable and I immediately bought it. The cashier lady had a pretty smile and she politely served me. It's GU where you can get what you are looking for at reasonable price!!
I went to GU to buy kids' T-shirts. I always go to LUCLE Fukuoka shop as there are not many shops that have kids' size among other GU shops. The inside is big and easy to look around. I found what I liked and decided to buy 3 T-shirts. Also bought adult T-shirts, loungewear, socks and shoes. I always do bulk buy because the price is reasonable. However the female shop assistants are always bluntness and she is very unfriendly, sloppy at the till and I get angry. Although I go there as other shops don't have kids' items, to be honest, it's unpleasant.
I buy clothes at GU as I want to follow the trend. I became a mobile member and receive sale information by email. I feel I saved money even when I buy many items as I get discount. The price is reasonable and there are many under 1,000 yen but they don't look like cheapie. Many people often ask me where I buy my clothes from, as the designs and colours are trendy. When I tell them how much I paid for, most are surprised as they don't look like so cheap. I think GU is currently one of the most popular brands.
I bought at GU for the first time. I had been keen on GU and I did some research online to see what kind of items it had, and checked flyers to find out what items were being sold beforehand. So I was impressed when I actually went to the shop. There were more items than I expected and it was an enjoyable shop to look at the items that were distinctively placed in vertical way at some sections. It was easy to choose the items and I want to buy there again.
I bought a pair of White gaucho trousers with Black thin stripes. I went to buy gaucho trousers and I fell in love with them in refreshing pattern that was very much Spring/Summer style. I often buy there as I can get trendy items at reasonable price. The shop assistants are very nice and serve customers with smiles. I'm not keen on staff who comes to talk to customers but this shop is nice as I can freely shop without being bothered unless I talk to them. The inside is big and there are many items but I can take time to look around as there is no overwhelmed feeling because the displays are not too high up. We can go round with pushchairs as well.
I was looking for a polo shirt that I could wear at work. Because it is for work, I was trying to find something cheap and sturdily made, and I could find the exactly the one I was looking for (mono color polo shirts: black, white and navy) at GU, and I just had to get one instantly. They were actually really comfortable; in fact I didn’t get the “you get what you paid for” feeling although they were cheap. Just like what polo shirts are meant to be, it is easy to move around when I wear them, and I am satisfied that I could find mono color and simple polo shirt like these. I am currently wearing them at work, and it looks like I can wear them for a while even if I wear them again and again without being stretched or shrunk.
The first GU store I ever visited was located inside Yodobashi Camera in Hakata. The store’s base color theme was white, and I got a very clean impression. Since it was a weekend, the store was packed with shoppers. It looked like they wanted customers to take off the hangers from the clothing before bringing up to pay, but it seems like no one knew about it… I thought if they use some more message notices, people might be able to pay attention more. I also noticed that there was a long line at the cashier, and you have to wait for a long time, and I hope they will change for better.
When I went to Sendai to see my friends, I visited GU for the first time. It was located at the corner of the big shopping mall, and the store was very spacious. I was looking for something I can wear quick and casually on daily basis, and I found the cute display and I decided to buy the set. Most of the store associates looked very busy, but they kindly told me where the fitting room was when I asked. They also told me that if I download free app from GU, I could get a discount at the cashier when I check out the items so I did. I am happy with my purchase.
I purchase a pairs of v-shaped long t-shirt. The store associates usually do not talk much, but when they do they are very polite so I could enjoy shopping who does not care for store associates following you around. The aisle were spacious and neatly organized, and it was very easy to find things. They were lacking the stock of small and medius size for popular merchandise sometimes, but generally they had great variety in merchandise. I have come to this store several times, but they have installed several the self check out lane lately, and I am thankful that I do not have to wait longer.
I purchased a pair of gaucho pants. When I went to the store before, they did not carry the size I wanted, but this time they did carry one. I often go to this store, but the store associates would friendly help you when you want to try things on. I was comfortable shopping in here since the store associates by the cashier also helped me with smiles. The store was spacious, and they carried various kinds of merchandise. They had several fitting rooms, but it tend to be croweded on the weekends. It is located right next to Livin in Kasugai, and they also have store right next to Nitori. They have a bigger parking lot as well.
