I often go there. I bought a pair of trainers for myself and a T-shirt for my husband.
The inside is always crowded and there are many people coming with their kids.
There are not many ladies clothes I like. However I always buy my trainers from GU and I'll buy them here again when the current pair is worn out. There were many customers but the payment process went smoothly and they never made me wait.
I bought a knitted dress. There were not so many clothes I could wear since I was pregnant so I was looking for something loose. I tried several clothes in different sizes but the staff never showed any grumpy face and brought different sizes and colours each time I asked for. It's always crowded with people for wide variety of age range and I like their price for being so reasonable.
The shop is in the Yodobashi Camera store and easy to find as it's close from Hakata station.
It's in PARCO that is just in front of trolley bus station along the Shimotori Street, the busiest point in Kumamoto.
There are many other shops in this area and it's easy to pop in when going shopping. I bought a pair of skinny trousers. The skinny trousers from GU are stretchy and comfortable, the price is really reasonable!
I asked to turn the hems up and they came back in about 30 minutes as there wasn't a long waiting time. Time flew while I was looking around. I think it must be hard to be a shop assistant in this shop...as there are so many customers and items would get easily untidy on the shelves. However they were efficiently working there on the day with watching the customers around.
I bought a pair of gloves. I was looking for a cool pair as I was a motorcyclist.
The staff was very kind and chose a pair that suited me and I was very happy with them.
The inside was simple and I got a nice, clean impression.
Although there was knitwear I liked, I didn't have enough time. I want to buy it next time.
I went to GU for the first time to buy Black trousers and shoes for work.
I put what I liked into a basket and went round the shop. It was lively and there were many cute items that attracted me. However best of all, I was surprised at the price being so reasonable. The staff was very kind and I could shop comfortably.
I went to my local GU as I wanted to buy trendy White jeans and Black skinny trousers.
It was enjoyable by just looking as the bargain items and new arrivals were neatly divided.
There are kids' items and ideal for families.
You can take a bus to get there from either Shonandai station or Fujisawa station, however it's easy to go by cars as there is a car park.
I often go there as the shop is in a building where many other fashion shops are .
Even when I don't intend to buy, I often happen to buy something as the price and design are good. There are wide varieties of items, almost everything, shoes, bags, hats, lounge wear and underwear. It's very helpful.
The shop assistants are very lively and I often hear some customer announcement for bargain items in the shop.
I live abroad and I knew it was outside the season but I was looking for a thin shirt.
The inside was bright and the staff was plain-spoken, good impression.
That's GU indeed, there were many items and the price was reasonable, it was difficult to decide what to buy. In the end, I bought a standard Oxford White shirt. I was very happy with the quality and its comfort. It was a shop I want to pop in when I'm looking for something.
I bought a White knitted dress with hood!
It was bingo as the dress was girlie and cute, could be worn comfortably.☆ Also the price was reasonable, 990yen!
You can get them in different colours. Although I didn't buy it that time, there was also a coat sold at 1,990yen. I was so surprised at the price being so reasonable (lol) It might be good enough to buy clothes from GU if they are just for one season. :-)
A good point at GU or UNIQLO is that the shop assistants don't come to talk to customers.
I like it as I can shop with ease ♪
I bought a skirt, cardigan and duffle coat.
It was very crowded due to Sunday, but a shop assistant checked their stock straight away when I couldn't find the size I wanted and asked her if they had any!
I was very pleased that she kindly helped me despite being busy! I also like that I could get discount for some items when I show my membership card on mobile!
